Grant Payments 2025/26

The Parish Council is pleased to announce the following grant payments were made during the financial year 2025/26
1.  1st Cheswick Scouts Group to set up Squirrels Initiative - £3000
2. Citizens Advice - £1795
3. Royal British Legion - £75
4. Wallscourt farm Academy PTA Christmas Event - £100
5. The Brightwell MS Therapy Centre - £1000
6. The Saplings Playgroup - £700

New Meeting Venue

Since its formation the Parish Council have held meetings at the Stoke Gifford Retirement Village. Councillors recognise this venue may not be accessible to residents within the Cheswick area and to this end, with the advent of Wallscourt Farm Academy's commitment to provide facilities to community groups outside school times, the parish council resolved to regularly set meetings at this venue. The council is always delighted to welcome residents to attend meetings and look forward to meeting Cheswick residents at this new venue when advertised. (Details of the agenda is always published on the home page a week before the meeting). 

Parish border signs erected

After much delay on the part of South Gloucestershire Council the road border signs indicating the parish border have now been erected.
